Photography website

Photographs first, words where they help.

Gosia is a photographer and content creator in Plymouth, in the UK. Her website had to let the photographs make the first impression, then say plainly what she offers and how to reach her, in English and in Polish.

Project overview

One page, built around the gallery.

Everything sits on one page: the opening photograph, a short introduction, the gallery, three services and the contact details. A visitor goes from first impression to first message without hunting through menus.

Content challenge

Plenty of range, no clutter.

The photographs range from sea and coastline to spring flowers, city streets, portraits and a wedding. The gallery had to show that range at a size where each picture still holds up on a phone, and then lead on to what Gosia can do for a business or a family.

What was delivered

Three services, contact always in reach.

The services are grouped into three: content for businesses; portraits, couples and families; small celebrations and weddings. Visitors can reach Gosia by email, Instagram or Facebook, or through a Messenger button that stays on screen as they scroll.

Key deliverables

What the website includes.

  • One page: opening photograph, introduction, gallery, services and contact.

  • A full-screen photo viewer that works with a mouse, the keyboard or a swipe.

  • Every photograph saved in several sizes, so a phone downloads only what it needs.

  • English and Polish, switched in place without losing your position.

  • Fonts and photographs served from the site itself, with no cookies or tracking.
